We now have at least four distinct generations in the workforce. With four distinct generations working side-by-side, friction caused by generational differences can have a negative impact on job satisfaction, retention, and ultimately, productivity.

Generational effects drive the attitudes, behavior and lifestyles of each generation. Each sees the world with a different lens (perspective) influenced by the demographic, economic and social trends of their formative years.

To successfully manage a multi-generational workforce, organizations must first understand each generation and the common experiences that connect its members.

This workshop looks at each of the four generations - Millennials, Gen X, Boomers and Matures – as employees, their approach to life and what motivates them.

The workshop examines strategies to align the generation, how to build and maintain a balanced workforce, retention and how to tap the potential of a multigenerational workforce.
