Managing Workforce Stress |
Today, organizations are seeking new ways to improve their operations to compete in a volatile economic environment and it is no different in the hospitality industry.
Accelerated activity, coupled with the pressure of constant change, takes a considerable toll on an organization’s work force in terms of elevated stress levels. With stress come lagging performance, reduced productivity and ill physical and emotional health.
The course will include a Personal Effectiveness Inventory (PEI), a tool developed to help you better understand your personal and professional strengths and areas in need of development. It provides a candid assessment of your attitudes, beliefs and behaviors in a variety of situations.
Workshop Objectives:
- To discover how to identify areas of strength (stress insulators) as well as areas of difficulty (stress conductors)
- To discover how you can improve, accomplish more and have more satisfying relationships
- Gain insight into the impact of thinking and behavior on such essential performance predictors as quality of relationships, satisfaction with self and work and feelings of well being
- To explore strategies to modify responses to stressful situations with a goal to improve performance and physical and emotional health
